Lavinia is Principal of Legally Ready and provides senior legal leadership on a contract and advisory basis, in addition to her private practice. She is a skilled contract negotiator and a trusted advisor with a track record of achieving her clients' objectives. Lavinia is open minded, observant, optimistic, and an excellent communicator.
She began her legal career over 25 years ago when she graduated with a Bachelor of Laws in Brazil, passed the Brazilian Bar Examination and began practising law.
After immigrating to Australia, Lavinia was determined to requalify as a lawyer in NSW, which has a different legal system to those of South America. She completed a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney and a Master of Laws at Macquarie University, and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Lavinia is a proud member of the Law Society of NSW and remains qualified as a lawyer in Brazil.
